The short stories contained in my blog are based on actual events in the author’s life, told through her lens. Some of the names and stories have been modified to protect the author’s relationship with the living. Some of the stories and dialogues have been embellished or adjusted to protect the innocent. Some of the details of certain situations have been exaggerated for comedic effect. But every story is based on truth.

 

This book is not intended to be a journalistic, non-fiction piece in the strictest of senses. However, the book presents the reality of the author’s childhood as she remembers it, through her filter.
